The Story

Walker's Finest
Didn't Happen By Accident.

In 2016, Walker's Finest opened its doors in Barrhaven — a community that needed exactly what we were building. A barbershop that understood all hair types. A space that felt premium without feeling exclusive. A place where people could walk in and trust that they would leave looking right.

The craft came first. Decades of experience across every hair type and texture, built one cut at a time. The vision came with it — a business, a beauty supply, an understanding of what was genuinely missing in this part of Ottawa.

Together they became something Ottawa hadn't seen before: a barbershop that didn't just cut hair, but served a community that had been underserved for too long.

"We saw a gap — not just in the market, but in what a barbershop could be for a community like ours."

Barrhaven in 2016 was growing fast. Families were moving in from across Ottawa and beyond — many of them looking for a barber who actually knew their hair. Walker's Finest was built to be that place.

Nine years later, two locations. A beauty supply. An Academy. A Foundation. The craft and the community are still at the centre of everything.
